"Excellent accommodation in great location for local attractions and ferries.
Great one night stop over on the way to Ferry Terminals. So much nicer than Dover!! Good position, easy access to town and ferry Terminals. Clean well-appointed rooms with excellent breakfast. Hospitality excellent.
Parking could be a problem though this was not an issue when we stayed.

"Very relaxing, friendly and enjoyable. We had a very warm friendly greeting and felt like we were being welcomed into the family. The room was clean, fresh and very comfortable. The dining area and kitchen were very homely and clean, and helped to make the wonderful breakfast even more enjoyable.
The warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the freedom to come and go as we pleased - no restrictions on timings of the front door being locked."

"A good place to stay before traveling to the continent. We spent a comfortable two nights here; the bed was good, the ensuite bathroom very clean, the breakfast copious and well-presented. Its proximity to the sea and to Dover and the ferry port. Deal is not a busy place and our nights there were quiet and relaxing before we set out to France."

"A really lovely one night stay! Great for a one night or a few nights place to stay, they are very accommodating to your needs! Especially as we had to turn up early due to a wedding we needed to attend! Had everything that you needed in the rooms including an iron which was most welcome! "Beautiful property, friendly owners, good food - Edmund House offers great value accommodation. Edmund House is a small guest house, but big on friendliness. Our room was a modern good size double, with all the amenities you would expect. The owners were very friendly, and approachable, and made our stay very pleasurable. The great hospitality and ambience of the place. The location is within walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Nothing to complain about - except having to leave, we will stay longer next time."

We booked all most last minute and were very pleased that dogs are accepted in the B+B which we have noted for a later date along with family rooms if we decide to bring our grandchild. "Excellent place to stay with fantastic hosts. Wonderful breakfasts.From the exterior it doesn't look that appealing. However they are in the process of renovating the outside. HOWEVER, once you enter, it is tastefully decorated and we had a nice room with good en suit shower, basin & toilet which was spacious and very clean. The extra touches of wine, chocolates, flowers, cookies and tea/coffee were so appreciated and nice. The duvets were so soft and comfortable. Best of all was the friendliness and help we got from the hosts. We couldn't have had nicer people to be with. They are gems and their breakfasts are memorable....just wonderful. The REAL English breakfast! We would highly recommend anyone to stay with these delightful people in their home. Thank you." "Just arrived from a fantastic weekend in Deal Kent. Staying at the Edmund House Guest House. If you are looking for a guest house with a Dorcester Quality with a guest house price you have found it. Edmund House is well placed in Deal close to town centre/beach and places to see. Why not take a day trip to France or to Ashford for the outlet shopping. Deal in Kent is a MUST. I will definitely be going back and staying at the Edmund House."

"A lovely place to base our short stay in Deal. Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, a very comfy bed in a newly decorated room and great little extras such as the complimentary wine, chocolates and fruit in the room. The owners really went out of their way to help and advise us. We really didn't want to go home so soon, we will definitely be back and we're bringing the rest of the family!
