Here at Edmund House Guest House we offer home-cooked evening meals using fresh local produce. Whatever your dietary needs, we will do our utmost to accommodate you, but if you need a special diet, please give us 24 hours notice so we can prepare for you.

We can accommodate up to 13 guests and wedding parties have found us an ideal location. We are ideally situated a stone's throw from popular wedding reception venue, Deal Castle

We welcome golfers and with four Open Championship golf courses within half an hour from Deal, this really is a golfers' paradise!

We offer a shuttle service to and from the local golf courses. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to take advantage of this service.

Families with children are also welcome. We have a travel cot, high chairs and if required, a baby-sitting service.  There are many activities for families locally, including the two Tudor castles, free children's paddling pool, sea swimming, local leisure pool, and much, much, more.

Cyclists are well-provided for with the many local cycle routes and nearby Fowlmead Country Park with its Olymipc standard cycle track.

We have two adult and two children's bicylces available for use by our visitors. If you bring your own, we can offer a safe storage facility during your stay.

Why not make a day of it with a picnic lunch. We will prepare you a delicious picnic to your tastes for just £5 per person.

East Kent is beautiful and varied. The cathedral city of Canterbury is just half an hour's drive away and we offer a shuttle service to and from the City - price on application.

We can even offer you informal portrait photography during your stay. Our proprietor is a talented photographer specialising in informal portrait and group photography. Just ask if you would like to find out more.

Deal has a fantastic range of excellent restaurants, from Italian to South African, Oyster Bar to Seafood Restaurant. We will gladly recommend local dining according to your taste and place a reservation if required.

The fishing in Deal is very popular, from the beach, along the Pier and by boat. The famous Goodwin Sands, with its hundreds of wrecks, are just 5 miles out to sea and weather permitting, there is a fortnightly sea trip out to the sands. Ask us about availability and timing, for this is truly an extraordinary experience.
